The Moroccan Flame Story

More than a

Food Truck in Dallas.

Discover our story

01

The Craving

It started with the smell of charcoal.

In Morocco, some of the best food isn't found in restaurants — it's on the street. Kefta sizzling over hot coals, brochettes turning on the grill, warm bread stuffed and handed over in seconds.

That's the food Moroccan Flame was built around: honest, flame-grilled, and full of flavor.

Three generations in a sunlit Moroccan kitchen: a grandmother stretching msemen dough while a girl and her mother shape dough beside her and a father carries a basket of batbout

02

The Recipes

Moroccan home cooking, the way it's meant to taste.

Batbout is a soft, pocketed Moroccan bread, cooked on a griddle. Msemen is a flaky, layered flatbread. Kefta is spiced ground meat, shaped and grilled. Together they make the sandwiches and wraps we serve every day.

And on Fridays — the day Moroccan families traditionally gather around a big plate of couscous — we serve ours with tender meat, vegetables, chickpeas, and broth.

The Truck

A red truck with a Moroccan soul.

We wrapped our truck in the colors of Morocco — deep red, gold, and the green-and-gold zellige patterns you'd find on the walls of a Moroccan riad — and parked it at 2227 Greenville Ave in Dallas.

The window opens in the evening, the grill gets going, and the neighborhood starts to smell like Marrakech.
